MARWOOD, a village on the old  Ilfracombe road, 3 miles N.N.W. of Barnstaple.

From Barnstaple direction, go  towards Prixford, take the left  hand fork signposted Guineaford, turn  left towards Marwood Gardens, follow the  road past, and the Church is on your left hand side.
